The Lakewood Ranger’s regular season is coming to an end, but playoffs are about to begin.

During the season, the Rangers lost their starter Peter Nelson due to an injury, but hopefully he should be cleared up to play when the playoffs start. The team is also missing junior Jacob Schmidt who is out for the season with a knee injury.

The Rangers are entering the playoffs with a bye week in the first round. They will play Berea or Valley Forge winner intheir first game in the playoffs.

Last year they made a nice run in the playoffs, finally losing to St. Ed’s. This year, they are looking to go farther and try to make it to Columbus.

Senior Aaron Donahoe said, ”Im looking forward to getting into the playoffs. We get a first round bye so hopefully Pete Nelson will be back and ready to play. I think we’re capable to make a run.”
