The basketball season begins

Fall sports have come to an end and it’s time to make way for all of the winter sports coming in to their seasons.

Among these winter sports is the Lakewood Ranger’s boy’s basketball team. They ended their season last year on a good note and it should be exciting to start up the new season.

Last year’s varsity boys’ record was 11-9.

On how he felt on the beginning of the season, junior Cameron Silver said, “I think we will do really well this season. w\We beat St. Ed’s in a  scrimmage, so I feel like that got everybody ready to continue on with a good season.”

Junior Jake Schmidt added, “I feel like if we work hard and play our game, that we could do really great things, including winning the conference championship.”

The season begins with a game on November 20th at Lutheran West High School. The game starts at 7:30.
